Flange Head, Half Hex Body Rivet Nut, Closed End, A4 Stainless Steel
Gripmor closed end rivet nuts are typically used where ingress of moisture or contamination into the product must be prevented. Type FLH-A4-CE in 316 stainless have a flange head which is particularly suitable for load bearing applications.
These rivet nuts have a hexagonal body and fit into a hexagon hole, this eliminates the potential problem of rivet nuts turning after installation.
A4 (316) grade stainless steel is the most corrosion resistant grade used for fasteners with an increased percentage content of nickel and added molybdenum. The result is better resistance to aggressive conditions, acids and chlorides found in marine, coastal and some industrial applications.
